The OHIO YAB was established in 2006, and our history continues being written, year by year.

Ohio foster care youth and alumni have created videos to encourage community members to become foster parents for teens and/or host homes for young adults.

• Marissa Alcorn and her chosen family share how foster care brought them together.
• Kelsie Brown’s three-part video series covers: (a.) What It’s Like to Be A Teen Mom in Foster Care, (b.) What Teen Mothers Need From Their Foster Parents, (c.) Rights and Resources for Teen Moms in Foster Care

We also created a video to remember a young person who we lost.
